"I Want You To Be Free"

"My beloved,
you are at the center of My heart!

Though you have turned to prostitution,
though you have given yourself to other lovers,
though you have sold your soul for wealth,
yet I still love you!

I see you in your spiritual poverty,
captive to your lusts,
but I do not despise you!
You are still My beloved,
the one I want to be with forever.

"Is not Ephraim my dear son,
the child in whom I delight?
Though I often speak against him,
I still remember him.
Therefore my heart yearns for him;
I have great compassion for him,"
declares the Lord.
"Set up road signs; put up guideposts.
Take note of the highway, the road that you take.
Return, Virgin Israel, return to your towns.
How long will you wander,
unfaithful Daughter Israel?"
