A Call to Stand and Prophesy

"My people who can hear My heart,
I am calling you to prophesy:
I am calling you to speak My words,
to cry aloud My truth,
to rebuke and call to repentance
those who call Me 'Lord, Lord'
but have forsaken My commands of love.

I am calling you to testify;
I am calling you to witness to who I am,
for many who call Me 'Lord'
do not know My ways or My heart.
I am calling you to proclaim
My teachings and My mercy,
and that judgment is coming:

I will raise up high those
who have been oppressed;
I will bring low those
who have been unmerciful;
I will uncover what has been hidden,
revealing the hearts of many
and judging those who love lawlessness.

Stand and prophesy, My people;
call your brothers and sisters
back to obeying My law
to love one another as I loved you
even while you were My enemies.
Stand and weep for the nations
their cold love has wounded in My name.

I am calling you to prophesy
because many speaking in My name
are prophesy falsely, as they serve
the gods of pride, nationalism, greed,
the image of Me they have made,
and the ungrace and violence
they believe earns My favor.

Do not be afraid, My people;
many will hate you in My name,
but many will also hear My heart,
and their hearts will turn to Me,
to their neighbors, to their enemies,
to the wounded and the least of these,
and I will save and comfort many."

These Are the Days

"I know that much
of the behavior of those
who profess My name
does not reflect My teachings.

I know that many have used
the words of scripture
to support their agendas
and unloving actions.

I know that many have twisted
prophecies in scripture
that justify their disregard
of My teaching and commands.

Because of these things
many of you who hold
to My teachings and commands
have questioned, re-interpreted
and sometimes cast off belief
in the words I have spoken
through prophets in scripture.

Yet by holding onto
My teachings and commands
and by walking in My love,
you have held onto that
which is most important.

But the words I have spoken
through prophets in scripture l
are also true and did not come
by any prophet's own interpretation.

Those whose agape love
has grown cold and who
have forsaken My commands
are fulfilling the words I spoke
in the prophecies of Paul
and the book of Revelation.

They have become unthinking
and unfeeling as the brute beasts
of Revelation and have taught
rebellion and apostasy in My temple.

Death, war, exploitation
and destruction follow in their wake
as they ride out of My presence
like conquerors bent on conquest.

They have made an idol of Israel
and called all people to worship it,
blessing those who do
and cursing those who do not.

Those who cling to My ways of love
will not be deceived,
but those who forsake My commands
ignore the warnings of prophecy.

Do not forsake My love and My commands.
Keep faith in what I did
for you on the Cross,
and do not despise prophecies.
I will be with you until the very end."

Do Not Leave the Cross in the End Times

"Why are many of My people
looking to Israel as if it is the
center of the book of Revelation?

Why are many marginalizing the Cross
and setting aside My command
to carry the cross?

The end times will be
like the days before
the fall of Jerusalem:

As I was in the world,
so My disciples will be
a stumbling stone to the world
because they follow Me
and obey My command to love.

As the nations rage against each other
My disciples will be accused of treason
because they obey My law of love.

They will be put out of the synagogue
—they will be put out of churches—
because they do not follow
the zealotry of those
who put nation and place
above Me and My commands.

Do not be led astray from My commands
by false teachers and false prophets.
Those who marginalize Me
with their interpretation of Revelation
and urge My people to forsake their cross
are false teachers and false prophets.
Do not follow them!

Hold onto Me and My commands!"

Foolish Virgins

"My people,

I told you to always be ready to give
an answer to anyone who asks you
about the hope I have given you.

I did not tell you to use My word
for attacking the beliefs of others
or for 'taking the land' in My name.

Do not seek combat with

but clothe yourselves with love.

Your war is not against the beliefs of others,
but against the spiritual darkness
in your own hearts— pride, greed,
and the desire for power and control.

As you conquer these
and give to the world
the love I gave to you,
all people will know
that you are My disciples.

Do not use My word apart from My spirit—
apart from My love.

A Journey For America

Two years ago just before the American "Thanksgiving" holiday, in light of all the things that "America" had done to the indigenous people of the land, I felt personally challenged to live out the repentance and reconciliation that I knew America needs. I sought out Richard Twiss, whose book I had read some years earlier, and was able to get in touch with some of his friends.

Little by little, I got to know and befriend them, and also read some of the books they had written. Reading their perspectives opened my heart to parts of God's heart that I had been nearly blinded from seeing (blinded by the pride and myths of America). As soon as I began to reach out, God began sharing with me in painting and words how He felt about what was done to them, the need for justice, repentance, and reconciliation.

Richard Twiss had a heart attack and walked on in February 2013. I never got to talk with him, but I knew he meant a lot to the Native believers. I wanted to mourn with them and honor their friend, so I watched online the memorial service they held for him a month later. To my surprise, at the end of the service, the Spirit overcame me with weeping, telling me that these were also my own people— not only spiritually, but physically!

He was referring to Native heritage that I had in my family, but which I thought didn't count for anything for various reasons. But it mattered to Him! This was a huge, wonderful and blessed upheaval in my life. My heart and spirit opened and I wept at many things— songs, regalia, the Smoky Mountains, storytelling, and more. I began to want to know the people of my ancestors and to reunite with them through genuine loving relationships. And as I continued learning, I also began to understand the love of creation and the land which God set in them.

At the end of 2013, the Spirit told me that my journey of discovering my native heritage was a picture of the journey He is calling many of His people in America to undertake.

To understand, first He had me recall some of the steps He led me through:

1) He awoke my awareness of natives and what they have suffered in America, and He awoke a desire for justice and healing.

2) I was moved to seek them out and share in their lives and their story.

3) As I shared and grew in relationship with them (especially in joining the mourning for Richard Twiss), He awoke my own heritage, and I discovered who I was created to be.

4) He then began to open my eyes to see a greater vision than what I had known before— the restoration and value of every tribe, tongue and nation, and the sacredness of the land He sets us in and how He has attached us to it.

Then He spoke these words:

"I am awakening My servants in America.
Many of you have not known the purpose
for which you were set in the land—
for healing the wounds that were
wrought by your forefathers.

I am opening your eyes to the injustices
and scars of America, and I am placing
the keys of My kingdom in your hands:
repentance and forgiveness.

I am calling you to return to the heritage
of the ministry of reconciliation,
to repent in sackcloth for the ways of violence
and to walk instead in the ways of My love."

A Word to Native Americans

"My children,

I am He who created all things
and I am He who redeems all things.
I am He who has been with you
since the beginning,
and I am He who will be with you
until the end of all things—
I am the Creator.

Your ancestors sought Me
and lived in reverence of My Spirit.
They saw My handiwork in creation
and longed to honor Me.
When their world was changed
they still sought Me and trusted
in My goodness and My will.

When they suffered,
I suffered with them;
when they were oppressed,
I was oppressed with them;
when they lost their homes,
I was homeless with them,
and I stayed with them in captivity.

I walked with them in exile,
I hungered with them,
I was sick with them,
I was depressed with them,
I was beaten with them,
I cried with them,
and I died with them.

I am He who is with you today,
even as your people continue
to suffer from traumas old and new.
I am He who is always with you

which I do not know.

and I will punish those
who have oppressed you.
Woes are coming upon the land,
and the heavens will be shaken.
Do not be afraid when this happens,
but trust in Me and My love.

Forgive your enemies
and pray for those who
have persecuted you,
for they are also My creation—
they too are My precious children.
I want to save them
and set them free."

Life Through Repentance

"My faithful servants,

I am going to give you
more words to speak
that will be difficult for many
of My people to hear.

I will testify about the rebellion
of many of My people against
the commands of My Son
and their dangerous course.

but stand firm in My love for them
by calling them back to the Rock.

I discipline those whom I love,
and I will not abandon My people
to their ways but will call them
to life through repentance."

Justice Is Coming

"The time is near when

The glory of the Lord

The Hour of Tribulation

To the remnant—

I am preparing to open the sixth seal.
The time of tribulation is upon you.
I have called you for this hour.

Many who have not heard My heart
will become paralyzed by the
increase of calamities on the earth.

worship the works of their hands.

Do not fear the those who
accuse you of siding with enemies,
but pray for their deliverance.

Remember that I loved them
and forgave them from the Cross;
you also must intercede for them.

The end is near, therefore be sober
and keep your eyes fixed upon
the grace I have given you freely.

I am He who holds all things
in My hand—those who love Me
as well as those who do not.

I am coming soon,
therefore love as I have loved you,

"I Knew From The Beginning"

"The fulfillment of the vision
which I showed John while he was on Patmos
will not be what many of you expect:

Just as the greatest enemy you will ever face

When you see and understand this,
you will weep and your heart will break.

But I knew from the beginning
that My son Adam would sin against Me.

that the king I had chosen
for Israel in the north
would lead them into idolatry and exile.

that My people in Judah
would reject My voice
and usher in destruction
during the days of Jeremiah.

I knew from the beginning
that My own people in Judea
would reject Me when I came to them.

I knew from the beginning
that My own disciple
whom I had chosen
would betray Me.

I knew from the beginning
that the priests of My people
would hand Me over to be crucified.

I knew from the beginning
that My church would receive a crown
and would take up the sword
to pursue earthly kingdoms.

I knew from the beginning
that My people would twist My words
to create their own economic wealth
and to justify their wars.

I knew from the beginning
that My people would rebel
against My law of agape love
and would become Babylon.

I knew from the beginning
that those I had called in the past
would become a beast
attempting to regain
their former power and glory.

I knew from the beginning
that My people would prostitute
themselves to the beast.

I have known all things since the beginning,
yet I loved you and gave My life
on the Cross for all of you.

I can see the end that you cannot.
I can see the redemption that you cannot.
Trust Me and trust in My goodness."

Impending Spiritual Disaster (a dream)

Ignoring a Tornado Dream
January 26, 2014

Last night I had a dream that I was on the second floor of my old house in Maryland. I was looking out the window and saw a tornado coming. Alarmed, I ran downstairs and shouted to everyone that a tornado was coming and we needed to get underground. I couldn't see anyone, but I could hear their voices around me continuing on as usual and not paying attention.

God, as I record this, I'm just filled with so much grief and weeping.

I asked You what this meant, Lord, and You answered:

"Disaster is coming to the church in America!
Already many of My people have chosen
to love the world and fight to the death
to keep their world from being taken away.

As in Noah's day, they are absorbed in their world
—absorbed in earthly liberty and material things—
and cannot see the danger that they will be in
when their beloved idols are threatened.

Already the spirits of many have faded
as they trade in the gospel for the glory of America.
I will send them messengers to awaken them,
to call them to the foundation of Christ alone.

Will they return to the gospel
when the glory of America is threatened?
Or will they continue to let their love grow cold
and remain in slumber until they are no more?"



"Do not love the world or anything in the world.
If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh,
the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—
comes not from the Father but from the world.
The world and its desires pass away,
but whoever does the will of God lives forever."

"All people are like grass,
and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of the Lord endures forever."
(1 Peter 1:24-25)

The Gospel of Another Fire

A few days ago I was sharing with a brother the pictures and messages of the two Bibles that the Lord had me desecrate a year ago. As I also shared about the burden on His heart for many of His beloved children in charismatic churches, the Spirit moved me and told me to make a third desecrated Bible:

"Paint a lion's face on an open Bible,
for many of My people in charismatic churches
have covered over My words with their word
about the glory of supernatural power.

Paint it in gold, for they have lusted
after dazzling signs and wonders,
worshiping the ability to perform miracles
and those who perform them.

Put feathers around the lion,
just as My people have collected "evidence"
of angels to confirm their good feelings
about their leaders and their meetings.

Cut out words from the gospels about miracles
which My people love to hear and use,
just as they cut My words out of their context
to support their demand for the miraculous.

Bind the rest of the pages with wire and tie barbs
to keep other passages from being read,
for My people have forbidden allowing their teachings
to be challenged and tested by the context of My words.

Paint the barbed wires gold,
for My people use having or lacking "faith"
to make My children doubt themselves
instead of teaching them to test all things.

Make this golden image over Acts chapter 4,
for My people have made an idol
of the supernatural signs and wonders
that were performed by the early church.

Do this on your book of Luke and Acts,
for many of My people in charismatic churches
have isolated the miracles of Christ and the apostles
as if these are the good news and the kingdom."

Then I asked,

"God, I love Your words, and I love it when You do miracles and wonders.
But is it really this bad? Why is it wrong for us to emphasize the miraculous?"

He answered:

“A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now something greater than Jonah is here. The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now something greater than Solomon is here.”
(Matthew 12:39-42)

Then He said,

"My wisdom and My teaching should be enough."

I asked again,

"But surely it's not wrong to pray for healing?"

He answered,

"No, but many of My people are demanding it,
commanding it of Me or My servants,
determining My will for Me
and refusing to listen to My answer.

My answer is what will best help you and those you love,
not only for today but for eternity.
Trust in My timing, and trust that I love you
more than you are able to understand.
My 'no' is just as loving as My 'yes',
and I will not give you something you ask for today
if I have something better for you in the future.

I am the Lion of Judah, the Messiah and King,
but I am revealed to you as the Lamb who was slain,
and you are to follow Me in the path
of submission to My Father that I walked in as the Lamb.
When you cannot understand, say with Me to our Father:
'Not my will, but Your will be done.'
Do not presume to calculate My Father's will,
but wait for Him to answer in His time and in His way."

To make this desecrated Bible, God told me to use a volume of Luke & Acts I'd found at a used book sale some years ago. I loved the little volume and thought it neat that someone had put Luke's two books into a single volume. I loved the cover design and the title, too. But honestly, I never really used this little volume. I used my whole Bibles and New Testaments far more. This was more of a novelty item, truthfully, and I didn't actually need it at all. But it was so nice that I still wanted to keep it for myself, even when He called me to ruin it for this message.

As I reflected on this, the Spirit moved me and said that this has meaning, too:

"Much of the passion of My people for the miraculous
is for novelty's sake and for their own desires,
but I am calling them to let go of these
and pray instead for people who are truly in need.

I promised to baptize you with My Spirit and fire,
but My Spirit is a fire of passion for the world,
for you, your neighbor, and your enemy;
do not accept any other fire than My agape love!"

Responding to the Sixth Seal

"I am opening the sixth seal
and there will be great disasters.

Many who call themselves My people
will respond with judgment.

Some will respond with love,
but many will turn to making
prophetic declarations in My name
yet without My Spirit,
calling the nations to alliances
with the kingdoms of the earth.

When the nations demand their allegiance,
My servants will hold to My commands,
loving as I loved My enemies
instead of fighting back.

The greatest destruction will not come
from the disasters that fall upon the earth,
but rather from the reaction of the nations.

My people, do not turn aside from My commands,
but carry the cross just as I have set
the example for you to follow."

Prepared to Understand

"To the ones who are waiting for the Lamb and His peace:

Those who hope for the love of the cross to fill the earth
will begin to understand the words written in Revelation.
Because they follow the commands of Jesus to love as He did,
their hearts have been prepared for the unsealing of prophecies.

Those who desire what My heart desires will see,
but who desire another kingdom will not believe.
They will chose their kingdom and their vision instead.
When the words of Revelation unfold before them,
they will cling to their understanding
and will resist the Lamb and His commands.

The words of the prophecies will remain sealed to them
because they no not choose the way of peace,
and they will fight against the Lamb and those who follow Him.
They will interpret the things happening in the world
according to the ways of the world which have become their gospel.
Many will join them and follow them into the great delusion.

But those whose wisdom is the Lamb
and His command of love
will shine as lights in the darkness."

As You Judge

"I am He who gave you grace

Those who choose to give enemies the sword
instead of the love of the Cross
are choosing to be judged by the sword

Which will you choose?"

Lawlessness Followingthe Second Trumpet

"A great asteroid will fall in the ocean,
fulfilling the vision shown to John.
Many people will search for understanding
by looking to prophecy 'experts',
but many will seek only to preserve
their ways and their kingdoms.

A minority will search for how
to love their neighbors and enemies.
But I will use this remnant
to testify of My love and My Son.

I have promised that I will be with
those who hold to His commands
and refuse to let their love grow cold
by following the kingdoms of the world.

Do not let any 'prophetic' teaching mislead you:
Follow the Lamb and His command to love."
