"Do You Know Me?"

If we say we love God, but hate others, we are liars.
For we cannot love God, whom we have not seen,
if we do not love others, whom we have seen.
(1 John 4:20)

"My people want to be righteous by faith,
but they do not want to let obedience
to My commands of love and mercy
separate the righteous from the wicked.
They want to be justified but not to be just,
to receive mercy but not to be merciful.

"My people do not know who I am!
They do not know My Spirit!
They have made a 'Christ' in their own image.
They want My salvation and My kingdom,
they want My miracles and My power,
but they do not want My heart!

"My Spirit is calling them to the truth,
to repent and to submit to My discipline.
I will not let them call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’
while rejecting My Father's will.
If they refuse to know Me,
I will refuse to know them."
