The God Under the Foundation

"I am not your foundation, America! I am not your God!
You have served Mammon since the day you were born;
and since the day you were born you have shed the blood
of those who stood between you and your mammon!
With you My people have committed adultery—
My beloved has left Me for you, America!

"Weep for My people in America,
you prophets and priests!
Stand in My love for My people
and call My beloved back
to the gospel and to My commands!"

  1. Wow, Ramone, I like what you said in NOT BUILT TO LAST and THE GOD UNDER THE FOUNDATION about being built upon sands of physical freedom, economic abundance, military solutions and political power (may want to add compromising to the list). The problem is that you are addressing every church, congregation, or body of believers when you point to America only. The biggest problem that is not being addressed is the fact that probably over 90% of the international "churches" are copies of those in America. The true foundation of the Apostle and Prophets with Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone has been replaced with the "sand" due to denominational separation, leadership taking ownership of something God intended to be custodial leading, compromising due to leaders fear of losing members of "their" congregation to another preaching God's word as directed by God, and some not allowing the fullness of Christ to enter the meetings. When Jesus spoke "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches", He was speaking to the Laodiceans believers.

    There are many that are not built upon the sands listed. We, Debra and I, truly believe that we are obeying God as stated in Ephesians...

    Ephesians 2:19-22
    Christ Our Cornerstone
    19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

    We are one in God and God is one in us... Jesus is the same in every believer.... We need to pick up the "church", put it on wheels, move it, and place it back upon the foundation of Apostles and Prophets with Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone.
