"Your Kingdom or Mine?"

"Do you love your nation more than Me?

Is your safety from your enemies
more important than
following My commands?

Is your duty to your kingdom
greater than your loyalty
to My kingdom?

Are you willing to sacrifice your enemies,
your neighbors or innocent people
in order to keep your place?

Would you stand in My truth
even if doing so meant that
you might lose your country?"

“If we let him go on like this,
everyone will believe in him,
and then the Romans will come and
take away both our place and our nation.”

Then one of them, named Caiaphas,
who was high priest that year, spoke up,
“You know nothing at all!
You do not realize that it is better for you
that one man die for the people
than that the whole nation perish.”
