Called to the Desert

"I have led you to the 'desert' for reasons you cannot yet understand,
and to bring greater fruit than could come if you were anywhere else.

"Look to Me! Look to Me!
Find your fulfillment in Me,
instead of in producing fruit for Me.

"Do not turn aside from My call to go through the desert;
in your desperation for relief from dryness,
do not chase after mirages or puddles of water.

"I will lead you to streams of living water if you trust Me.
You cannot see the way this will happen, for many 'mountains' block your view.
But I will take you through the mountains.

"Trust Me and lean on Me."
