Again God gives her the land
Again the godless inhabitants
oppress her and resist His will

ReplyDeleteI agree with you, can you imagine the early church getting on a political bandwagon supporting Israel politically after the Messiah wasn't received by those in the land? Our job is to pray for their souls and share the gospel with the lost Jewish people. "Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth." Colossians 3; 1-2
"But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches." Romans 11; 17-18
Context of Romans 9-11 is highly recommended, too much to squeeze in here.
Also: The Gentile church took up offerings for the church in Jerusalem, the saved and not the unbelievers. Good perspective to follow.
