Waiting For Chaff

"The Lord looked for justice, but saw bloodshed;
for righteousness, but heard cries of distress.
Woe to you who add house to house
and join field to field till no space is left
and you live alone in the land!"

"I am already seated on the throne!
My kingdom has already been established,
and My throne is founded on love!
The stones of My temple are living stones—My people
—and are not fallen into ruin!
I am He who is seated on the throne of the new Jerusalem in heaven,
the city that endures forever,
not built by the works of your hands.

"What kind of throne are you trying to build for Me on earth?
What kind of kingdom are you fighting to establish?
Do I shed blood to save dead stones?
Upon what foundation and means are you trying to to build it?
What is the meaning of your weeping
and rending your garments over the works of your hands?
What is the hope you are waiting for?

"Turn to Me and live—today!"
