The Way of the Lamb

"When they hurled their insults at Him, He did not retaliate;
when He suffered, He made no threats.
Instead, He entrusted himself to Him who judges justly...
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you,
leaving you an example, that you should follow in His steps."
(1 Peter 2:23,21)

"My people, I am calling you to carry a cross during the end times.
I am not calling you to justify yourselves, nor to defend your image.
You cannot follow the Lamb and keep your pride at the same time,
for My steps lead to forgiving those who are crucifying you
and even laying down your life for them because I love them so much.
Will you take up My love for them and suffer for them if I call you to?
You cannot represent My name and My gospel if you shun the cross."

"Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat
falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone;
but if it dies, it produces much grain.
He who loves his life will lose it,
and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me;
and where I am, there My servant will be also."
(John 12:24-26)
